Afrand Tooska Industrial Group
The founders of Afrand Tooska Company initiated their research activities in 1986 by collaborating with domestic experts. The focus of this group’s studies centered on various types of Iranian zeolites. With the discovery of surface zeolite deposits containing high-purity veins in different regions of the country, particularly in Semnan and East Azerbaijan provinces, and through research on their applications, extraction methods, and zeolite processing, multiple research projects were undertaken as part of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral theses. Ultimately, by obtaining new findings in various usage scenarios, a specific type of processed zeolite named “Clinoptilolite” was introduced into the livestock, poultry, aquaculture, and agricultural industries. Afrand Tooska’s processed zeolite, marketed under the trade names “Anzymite” and “Keshavit,” was introduced to consumers and has been available in the market since 1994.
By acquiring mines in Semnan and East Azerbaijan provinces, the extraction and processing of the discovered zeolites began. With the invention of innovative processing methods and after registering the invention with the Patent and Inventions Office and obtaining production licenses from the Veterinary Organization of the country, exclusive production rights for this material in Iran, exclusively for livestock, poultry, and aquaculture feed, were granted to Afrand Tooska Company. As a result, the company’s economic activities expanded, covering the entire country and facilitating the distribution of the product.
Through the use of modern extraction and processing methods for the discovered zeolites from Semnan and East Azerbaijan provinces, registration of the invention, and receiving production permits, Afrand Tooska gained exclusive rights for the production of this material in Iran, specifically for the use in livestock, poultry, and aquaculture feed. This paved the way for the expansion of the company’s economic activities, making the product available throughout the country through an extensive distribution network.
Through the execution of numerous research projects, the beneficial consumption of this material in livestock, poultry, and aquaculture feed has been proven. Thanks to its reasonable price and the awareness of its multiple valuable properties, Anzymite quickly gained acceptance in the market. The company organized numerous conferences across the country and participated in specialized livestock, poultry, and aquaculture exhibitions, which led to increased familiarity among consumers with its uses and beneficial effects. Currently, thousands of tons of this material are produced monthly by Afrand Tooska and supplied to the market.
Afrand Tooska processes the extracted zeolite after conducting various tests to ensure its quality and purity. Following the necessary processing and sizing based on usage, the zeolite is graded and packaged in laminated polyethylene bags with a net weight of 40 kilograms before being distributed to the consumer market.
Afrand Tooska Company is the only Iranian company that has obtained a license from the Veterinary Organization of the country to produce zeolite for use in livestock, poultry, and aquaculture feed.
Currently, the extraction process continues in Semnan province’s mine, and the extracted product undergoes processing, grading, and packaging at the Semnan factory before being made available to consumers.
It’s worth mentioning that receiving the SGS/ISO9001/2000 certification and close collaboration with the Iranian Institute of Standards and Industrial Research are among the achievements of this company. Additionally, to promote awareness and understanding of the nuances of Anzymite consumption, monthly articles are published in specialized national publications.
Furthermore, the company’s agenda includes organizing numerous conferences in different cities across the country and hosting educational workshops to achieve its promotional objectives. These efforts will continue as part of the company’s ongoing initiatives.
